Mario Doria

‬Mario Doria was born & raised in beautiful Naples, FL. He is the founding partner of‬‭ VANDERBILT INSURANCE & RISK MANAGEMENT, an independent insurance agency‬‭ with offices in Naples, FL and Chapin, SC.‬

‭ Mario graduated from Charleston Southern University with a B.A. degree in English‬‭ & Spanish Secondary Education. He spent six years in the classroom teaching‬‭ English and coaching football and baseball. At the age of 31 he got an opportunity‬‭ to become the youngest Athletic Director in the state. He began at his alma mater‬‭ Lely High School and shortly thereafter at Palmetto Ridge High School (where he‬‭ opened the school from the ground up as the very first A.D. in the school’s history).‬‭ After 4 years in this position, Mario decided to make a career move and go into the‬‭ insurance industry as a partner / owner at GC Insurance agency with his twin‬‭ brother.‬

‭ Over the next twelve years (2005-2017) Mario helped build GC Insurance agency‬‭ into a very well-known and successful insurance agency while insuring over 5,000‬‭ families. While doing this he remained very active in the community through youth‬‭ and high school sports.‬

‭ Mario has taken the same fundamental approach that he used to help build his‬‭ previous agency and used that to make VANDERBILT INSURANCE a trusted partner‬‭ that can help protect families within our community. As an independent agency he‬‭ will be able to shop for insurance with several different markets in order to provide‬‭ his customers with great pricing without sacrificing coverage or leaving them with‬‭ gaps in their protection plan. The philosophy of VANDERBILT INSURANCE is to treat‬‭ every customer as if they were a family member and never sacrifice protection.‬

‭ In his free time, Mario enjoys vacationing and spending time with his wife, Kimberly‬‭ and their children: Taylor (27), Dylan (25), Hilaria (17), and Jackson (15).‬
